The best products are always the result of necessity…Bak-Jak was designed by Rob Kinna, a
mechanical engineer who had spent many long, uncomfortable hours working on vehicle engines.

The combination of an aching back and the frustration of having to use one hand to support his
weight (more cramping and discomfort!), leaving him only one hand to work with, inspired him to
create a solution that would make his work more efficient, more comfortable and safer. Since
designing and testing Bak-Jak, the response has been incredible – those who have used Bak-Jak
have found that they can work faster and in a great deal more comfort.
